BCBC Small Groups

Bacon’s Castle has a strong commitment to small group fellowships as a primary means for building up our church family and for group discipleship.  If you are not currently part of a small group fellowship, we encourage you to find one that meets your interest and needs.

How Small Groups work in God’s Big Plan

While all of us who know Christ, know Him as our personal savior, the reality is that God has chosen to build our faith through interaction with other believers.  Jesus called a group of disciples and spent most of His ministry working with these disciples as a group.  And while fellowship and worship in large groups is appropriate on Sunday morning and other special events, it is in small groups that we can let our guards down and share with a few others what God is doing in our heart and our personnel needs.  Using the Bible as our guide, we learn from one another as we see God’s Word applied to real life situations.  Therefore small groups are an integral part of how we can disciple each other and grow in maturity.

Sunday School Frequently Asked Questions:

What time are classes?
Our classes begin at 9:30 am and end at 10:15 am.

Do I have to join your church or know about the Bible to visit a class?
Absolutely not. Our classes are open to anyone who wishes to attend.

Will I be asked to do anything (like pray) or answer questions that I may not know?
We strive to provide a comfortable atmosphere for members and guests alike. We will not ask you personal questions or ask you to do anything that could possibly embarrass you. We welcome you to join in discussion, if you so desire.

What should I wear?
You will find our members welcome you without regard to your dress.  Most people wear casual or business casual attire.
