Here at Bacon’s Castle Baptist Church, we believe that children are the next generation of believers. They are the ones that Jesus said we must be like to enter the kingdom of heaven. We take great care to ensure they are built up in the Lord. We offer various opportunities for your children to get involved, making it possible for them to participate.
CHILDREN PROGRAMS
Children’s Church — Sundays at 10:30 AM
During our worship service, children ages 3–5 are invited to their own special time of learning and praise.
After the music portion of the main service, children are dismissed to Children’s Church, where they enjoy a Bible story, sing songs, and share a snack together.
After the service, parents can pick up their children in the designated Children’s area.

Sunday Mornings — 9:30 to 10:15 AM
Our Children’s Sunday School welcomes kids from birth through age 11!
Ages 0–3 meet in the nursery, while ages 3–11 gather in our children’s area downstairs toward the back of the church.
Sunday school begins with a fun time of worship through music, followed by age-appropriate small group classes.
We use the Gospel Project curriculum so that what you’re learning as an adult connects with what your children are learning—helping families grow together in God’s Word.
Maker Classes — Learning New Skills Together
Our Maker Classes are periodic opportunities to learn creative and practical skills in a fun, faith-filled environment.
Current classes include crochet and watercolor.
Check the church calendar for upcoming sessions and registration details.
Youth are welcome with teacher approval for maturity level.
Parents are encouraged to participate alongside their children—especially in Watercolor sessions!
Awana Clubs (2 year olds–6th grade) meets Wednesdays, 6:30–8:00 PM, September 10th–May 6th. Each club night includes worship time, Scripture memorization, Bible lesson, small group discussion time, and high-energy Game Time.
We currently offer Puggles (2 year olds), Cubbies (preschool/3–4 year olds), Sparks (K–2nd grade), and T&T (3rd–6th grade).
